Throughout my life, I have always been interested in trying a vast variety of things; the best way to learn is by just trying. It helps you to figure out what you really like and who you really are.

Here is my personal

Flying has always fascinated me (probably because it's just a thing humans are not designed for by nature).  I obtained a Paragliding license in 1989, a free-fall Skydiving license in 1990, a private Pilot license in 2001, and a Helicopter license in the same year.

I hold the nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Karate, and have also practiced Judo, Aikido, and Kobudo (traditional Japanese weapons fighting) for some time.

Besides martial arts (which fortunately I can do everywhere all year round), Windsurfing and Skiing are my favorite sports in the season. Too bad all the good spots for either sport are somewhat remote and would not attract me for permanent residence.

Like to most people, Golf remains a challenging game for me - and I'll probably use up the rest of my life trying to get good at it. How good that there are no age limitations in golf.

I also love Music and arts: I have studied the violin for 8 years during high school, and enjoy playing the piano - although I never took serious lessons. I always wanted to play the piano when I was a child - but we didn't have one at home. So when I could finally afford it, the first thing I bought was a grand piano. My new apartment was still empty - the furniture would come 3 months later - but the piano was there.

And of course I love computers and technology. It was what started my career, and even though it's not my main business any more, I still love to play around with the latest gadgets. Needless to say that I have the latest home automation stuff in all of my houses.
